We’re sure there are more important things than coffee but we just can’t think of any.There is no hope for a perfect cup of coffee without the promise of great, consistent coffee beans. All that remains is the prospect of a bad coffee, which is unthinkable and undrinkable.
Two of our coffee experts, Tim and Rob, were two bar owners on the search for the Holy Grail of Coffee. It became an obsession and led to a small roaster in a garage somewhere in Nottingham, and in 2012 that hidden gem became 200 Degrees.
200 Degrees Coffee Roasters now has 1 roast house, 6 coffee shops, hundreds of wholesale partners, many happy (and caffeinated) workplace employees and plenty of customers brewing in the comfort of their own home.
You’d be surprised how often we’re
asked but it’s simple really. We slowly roast our coffee
for
a smoother taste and at a slightly lower temperature
than
normal. That’s right, you guessed it, at 200 Degrees to
be
precise.

We cherish the culture of coffee and we can talk about it for hours (really... please don’t set Tim and Alex off again). We understand that many people just want us to help them find a cup of coffee that they really love (even the avid tea drinkers), so we’ll leep roasting to the same high standards as we always have.
Producing 200 Degrees Coffee is a labour of love. All of our green coffee beans are ethically sourced, with our signature Brazilian Love Affair espresso blend coming 100% from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.Our coffee has been perfected through meticulous testing in our roast house and our own coffee shops. We ‘small batch’ roast to order, with every finished roast sampled by our Master Roaster before dispatch.
